We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a VP, Human Resources (Hybrid) on our Human Resources team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office. This role will be a leader in the Human Resources team with responsibility for providing all HR-related services to the AMA Senior Management Group (SMG) and AMA workforce. The Vice President will become figuratively embedded with the SMG as a quasi ‘business partner’; aware of management needs and able to anticipate solutions. The Vice President will also oversee organization-wide recruitment, performance management, employee relations and EEO compliance. The Vice President will see that the HR team meets the SMG’s needs as the AMA pursues new strategic goals and expands into new business lines; strengthening and optimizing the performance and effectiveness of AMA staff. This role has primary accountability for the performance of an AMA sub-function or key area within a business unit. This role develops and executes sub-function and business unit strategy/vision and influences the allocation of resources across multiple sub-functions or business units.
