About The Position

The AVP Product Manager is a key contributor on a cross-functional product development team building software solutions for Bank OZK. The role manages development priorities and day-to-day execution using agile methodologies, aligns team functions, and translates stakeholder input into business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. The position also manages product roadmaps and backlogs, gathers and evaluates user feedback, supports releases, and monitors product performance and adoption to identify enhancement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a job-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant product management or banking work experience.
• Knowledge of agile project methodologies, stakeholder management, feature writing, and requirements definition.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to incorporate user feedback into product roadmaps and adapt or develop products to meet client needs.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with exacting deadlines and deliver quality work on time.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Outstanding collaboration, partnership, and customer service skills.
• Professionalism, initiative, self-motivation, and a team-player approach.
• Skill using computers and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of experience working in an agile product development environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage prioritization of development work and drive day-to-day execution of the product development team following agile methodologies.
• Serve as a communication hub within the product development team, driving alignment and clarity between different functions.
• Develop business requirements with input from product stakeholders and translate them into functional user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Gather user feedback and evaluate enhancement requests to continuously improve products.
• Manage the product roadmap and backlog for assigned products.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Quality Assurance, and Release Management teams to ensure smooth and well-documented releases.
• Provide post-development support by monitoring product performance and user adoption trends, and convert issues and pain points into actionable enhancement opportunities.
