About The Position

Responsible for coordinating and executing marketing and business relations functions and for the implementation, development, and maintenance of Credit Union marketing plan goals and objectives to promote Universal 1's brand, products, and services. Participates in the inception and development of new services and products based on perceived member needs. Ensures that marketing projects are well coordinated and complement the strategic objectives of the Credit Union. Develop campaigns and content using data, policies procedures, and training programs to ensure efficient and effective marketing operations. Research marketing needs and analyzes marketing trends for the Credit Union. Supervises and appraises the activities of subordinate personnel and ensures that all promotional activities are performed professionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in a financial environment.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or senior leadership experience.
  • Experience with advertising, website edits and analytics.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Web/Mobile/Social Media Content Creation and Management.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated writing skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and ability to operate computer applications.
  • Able to use graphic arts tools and supplies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
