About The Position

The Consumer IT Operations Manager is a strategic partner to the SVP, Head of Consumer Bank Development. The role streamlines operations, aligns departmental activities, drives critical initiatives, and supports effective decision-making across departments. Combining strategic planning, program management, internal communications, and operational oversight, the position helps ensure Consumer IT operates efficiently, stays aligned with strategic priorities, and maintains accountability and excellence. The role is on-site at Axos Bank’s headquarters in San Diego, California. The position supports strategic planning and execution, executive communication, cross-functional coordination, budgeting and resource planning, leadership and culture initiatives, and governance and compliance. It also serves as a sounding board and thought partner to the Consumer IT leadership team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
At least 3 years of experience in management consulting, operations, strategy, or executive support roles.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
High emotional intelligence, discretion, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

Support the SVP, Head of Consumer Bank Development in developing and executing strategic plans.
Coordinate and track progress of strategic initiatives across departments.
Prepare briefings, dashboards, and reports to support executive decision-making.
Serve as a liaison between the SVP, Head of Consumer Bank Development and internal and external stakeholders.
Draft and review communications, presentations, and reports.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in organizational processes.
Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
Oversee internal communications and promote interdepartmental collaboration.
Support annual IT budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
Monitor departmental spending and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Serve as a sounding board and thought partner to the Consumer IT leadership team.
Champion company values and help shape organizational culture.
Facilitate leadership team meetings and planning sessions.
Maintain Consumer IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
Drive risk management and compliance initiatives, including audit readiness and data privacy.
