Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. Global Technical Operations, Field Operations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Avionics Lead Technician to work out of CFB Trenton, ON. This role supports the Canada Operational & Intermediate (O&I) Level Maintenance Augmentation Support Team (MAST) under the United States Government C-17 G3 Sustainment Contract. The Aircraft Avionics Lead Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will supervise the day-to-day activities of the Aircraft Avionic Technician team and the O&I Maintenance team during Home Station Checks. The position involves leading and supervising the assembly, disassembly, modification, and overhaul of aerospace vehicle systems and components, troubleshooting and repairing complex communication, flight control, and electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with flight-worthiness, contractual, and regulatory requirements. The Lead Technician will also carry Aircraft Release Authority (ARA) following Home Station Check inspections and be responsible for mentoring and training the team, fostering a culture of safety and quality, and collaborating with Quality and Safety teams.
