Perform and oversee scheduled and unscheduled inspections of company aircraft to ensure safety, compliance, and readiness. Enforce adherence to company policies, maintenance procedures, and FARs across all line operations. Partner with the Chief of Maintenance and Technicians to support daily operations, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance of all maintenance activities. Develop, schedule, and oversee training programs for maintenance staff; provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations. Monitor, track, and ensure compliance with all Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and OEM inspection program requirements. Analyze and trend aircraft component, accessory, and appliance data; submit findings to OEMs or FAA as required. Lead audits of third-party maintenance providers to verify compliance and quality of outsourced work. Ensure inspections, repairs, and documentation are performed by qualified personnel and meet regulatory standards. Oversee the designation and performance of Required Inspection Item (RII) Inspectors. Inspect aircraft parts, components, and documentation as needed to validate serviceability and compliance. Maintain technical libraries, including MELs, LOAs, and other compliance documentation, ensuring documents remain current. Supervise and direct personnel assigned to inspection and maintenance functions, ensuring safe use of shop equipment and proper calibration of tools and gauges. Oversee the calibration program for special measurement tools, equipment, and gauges in compliance with FARs. Represent the maintenance team on the Lowe’s Safety Committee, ensuring integration of quality assurance practices within the company’s Safety Management System.
