This position provides on-site direct AV/VTC support, including troubleshooting issues for a variety of AV/VTC equipment such as Cisco-based conferencing systems and Microsoft Teams. Support includes day-to-day VTC setup, scheduling, troubleshooting, maintenance, equipment replacement, installation of replacement equipment, in-call VTC support, and training on VTC equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and creatively working around rooms that are "hard down," and rapidly resolving technical issues to minimize downtime. Configuration support includes building and maintaining drivers, updating firmware for preventative maintenance of Cisco VTC systems and Windows-based systems. Support is provided for customer requests, VTC meetings, and sessions across 10 different VTC rooms, with equipment support for Cisco and Windows-based systems. The technician will leverage in-depth knowledge of monitors, projectors, video conferencing systems, and Windows-based systems. Responsibilities also include managing site inventory and spares using a database, managing/completing quarterly preventative maintenance projects, and submitting weekly status reports. Creating/resolving break-fix tickets by monitoring the client's ticketing system is also required. Support extends across both NIPR and SIPR communication mediums, including all Microsoft Teams conferences and Skype for Business VTC conferencing on both networks.
