About The Position

This role oversees audiovisual infrastructure and event production within a large-scale hospitality and entertainment environment. The position is responsible for managing AV operations, leading production teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery of events and technical services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in audiovisual production or related field
  • Experience in AV leadership or production lead roles
  • Knowledge of AV systems such as Q-SYS, AMX, or Crestron
  • Experience with live event production (audio, video, lighting)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop audiovisual production teams, ensuring efficient execution of events
  • Mentor supervisors and support staff in delivering high-quality production services
  • Oversee AV systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance
  • Coordinate event production including lighting, sound, and video execution
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and address variances
  • Develop long-term AV strategy and capacity planning initiatives
  • Partner with internal departments and external vendors to support event needs
  • Ensure alignment on system upgrades, installations, and service offerings
  • Resolve technical issues and ensure timely communication of incidents
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and operational procedures
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to service agreements
  • Support capital projects and AV system enhancements
