About The Position

We are seeking a trustworthy, hands-on, and technically inclined AV Lead Installation Technician who is eager to learn and grow. This role is ideal for someone who prefers working in the field over a desk job and has experience on construction sites. You will be responsible for pulling and terminating low-voltage cabling, mounting AV and network devices, building equipment racks, and performing advanced setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of various systems. Client communication, support, and training are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Experience on construction sites
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
• A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
• A pleasant disposition, High EQ
• Control4 Programming (REQUIRED)

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron)
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires (AV/Network/Control/Lighting/Shading)
• Build and lace equipment racks
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices
• Advanced understanding of networks
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices
• Control4 Programming
• Client communication, support, and training
