About The Position

We are seeking AV Installation Technicians to support a large-scale technology deployment at the Port of Hueneme. This project includes conference rooms, training spaces, classrooms, digital signage, and collaboration technology installations. The ideal candidate has experience installing displays, cameras, speakers, microphones, AV racks, and structured cabling in commercial environments.

Requirements

• Commercial AV installation experience
• Experience mounting displays and running low-voltage cabling
• Ability to read drawings and use hand and power tools
• Experience working on construction or renovation projects

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, or QSC
• CTS certification is a plus
• Commercial AV integration experience
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Install commercial displays, video walls, and digital signage
• Run, terminate, label, and test AV cabling
• Mount cameras, speakers, microphones, touch panels, and AV hardware
• Install Cisco Room Kits and conferencing technology
• Install AV racks, DSP equipment, and matrix switchers
• Follow project drawings and installation standards
• Test systems and perform quality checks
