AV Account Manager
About The Position
We are a fast-growing provider of integrated workplace solutions, specializing in audiovisual systems, commercial interiors, and technology-driven environments. Our team partners with organizations to design and deliver spaces that enhance communication, collaboration, and user experience. We are seeking an Account Manager with a strong background in AV integration, technology solutions, or commercial project environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on managing client relationships, supporting AV-driven projects, and expanding existing accounts.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in: AV integration, AV sales, or account management, OR Commercial technology, low-voltage systems, or related industries
- Strong understanding of AV systems such as: Conferencing platforms (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms) Control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX) Displays, audio systems, and collaboration tools
- Experience working with integrators, contractors, or corporate clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus
Nice To Haves
- CTS or other AV certifications are a plus (not required)
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts within AV and workplace technology projects
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with end users, general contractors, and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with AV design engineers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution
- Support the development of AV system solutions, including displays, control systems, conferencing, and collaboration tools
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and system recommendations aligned with client needs and budgets
- Manage project timelines, expectations, and communication from kickoff through completion
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and proactively address any issues
- Identify opportunities to expand AV scope, upgrades, and additional services within existing accounts
- Track account activity, pipeline updates, and revenue performance
- Stay up to date on AV technologies, including collaboration platforms and integrated systems
