Full-Time Auxiliary Teacher (Building Substitute)
About The Position
Independence Mission Schools (IMS) is seeking full-time Auxiliary Teacher candidates for SS Cyril & Philomena school to support with staff absences and provide additional instructional or assistance within the school. This candidate will exclusively support this school on a daily basis. Successful candidates will believe in the IMS mission, work with diverse students (PK-8) across all subject areas, model outstanding character aligned with Catholic teachings, and foster a positive classroom atmosphere. They will demonstrate a growth mindset, hold themselves accountable for their work, set high expectations for students, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and maintain meticulous organization for an excellent student learning experience. Flexibility and willingness to perform other duties as assigned are also key.
Requirements
- High School degree (required)
- Clearance on all required background checks (required)
- Completion of all onboarding documentation and training (required)

Responsibilities
- Support with staff absences
- Provide additional instruction or assistance within the school
- Support a specific school on a daily basis
- Work with diverse students (PK-8) across all subject areas, including specials (music, art, PE) and core academics (reading, math)
