About The Position

We are helping our client hire hands-on Autonomous Vehicle Technicians to support the retrofit, integration, and production of autonomous vehicle platforms. This role combines mechanical, electrical, and systems-level work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment. Ideal candidates are skilled in using diagnostic tools, reading technical diagrams, and working with electrical systems. You enjoy working on complex vehicle systems and delivering consistent, high-quality builds.

Requirements

Proficient with mechanical and electrical tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Able to work in a team-based, high-throughput production environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on vehicles for extended periods

Responsibilities

Install and integrate sensors, compute modules, wiring harnesses, and custom AV hardware
Execute vehicle retrofits and system integrations with a focus on quality and throughput
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during build processes
Perform hardware updates, rework, and build corrections as needed
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, repeatable builds
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams
Maintain tools, inventory, and clear documentation of work performed
