NVIDIA 2027 Internships: Autonomous Vehicles and Robotics

NVIDIA•Santa Clara, CA
•$20 - $71

About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking strategic, ambitious, hard-working, and creative students to join its Autonomous Vehicles and Robotics teams for a 12-week, full-time internship. Interns work on projects with a measurable impact on the business and gain hands-on experience. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a relevant degree program for the full duration of the internship, and their resume or CV must clearly state their anticipated graduation month and year. Potential autonomous vehicle projects include developing and training deep neural networks for path generation, collecting training datasets, working with real-time inference runtimes using simulators or gyms, and performing in-vehicle tests. Potential robotics work includes building foundational infrastructure and software platforms for systems powering robots and applications built with Isaac. Relevant course or internship experience may depend on the specific role.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a university pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field for the full duration of the internship.
  • Clearly indicate the anticipated graduation month and year on a resume or CV.
  • Depending on the role, prior experience or knowledge may be required in C, C++, C++17, CUDA, ROS, Python, OpenGL, Linux, sensor input devices (LiDAR, cameras, radars), or training frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch).
  • Depending on the role, relevant course or internship experience may be required in computer vision, mapping, localization, SLAM, image processing, segmentation, robotics, autonomous vehicles, validation frameworks for deep learning, operating systems and data structures, physics simulation, simulators, computer graphics, version control, or cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and train deep neural networks for path generation.
  • Collect training datasets and work with real-time inference runtimes using simulators or gyms.
  • Perform in-vehicle tests.
  • Build foundational infrastructure and software platforms for robotics systems and applications built with Isaac.

Benefits

  • Intern benefits are available; specific benefits are not detailed in the posting.
