About The Position

Dent Wizard is looking for a reliable Wet Sand & Buff Technician to join their team in Madison, WI. This role supports the Paint Technicians by locating and removing imperfections on vehicle panels and treating scratches and chips. The technician will wet sand and buff panels to achieve a showroom shine. This position offers a stable work environment with opportunities for career growth within the company.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in paint chip repair, wet sanding and buffing experience in a body shop environment.
• Strong work ethic, flexibility, speed and attention to detail.
• Toughness and grit to work outside in all kinds of weather.
• Physical stamina to kneel, bend and squat, as well as lift up to 15 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Potential to move up into Paint Tech or other Tech roles, which leads to even greater earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Locate and remove imperfections on panels.
• Treat scratches and chips with the necessary steps.
• Wet sand and buff needed panels to give the vehicle a showroom shine.
• Support the team of Paint Technicians.
