About The Position

The Automotive Wash Bay Technician is responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned to the organization's standards and customer requirements. This role involves detailed cleaning of both the interior and exterior of vehicles, including washing, upholstery cleaning, waxing, and applying protective sealants. The technician will also perform refurbishing of headlights, conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections, and maintain service tools and equipment. The position operates in a fast-paced environment, often in a garage or outdoor setting, and requires teamwork and adaptability.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Apply wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbishing headlights.
Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
Inspecting the vehicles thoroughly for pre delivery.
Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Other responsibilities provided by manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
