About The Position

The Automotive Wash Bay Technician is responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned and prepared to organizational standards. This role involves detailed cleaning of both the interior and exterior of vehicles, applying protective coatings, and maintaining the quality of service. The technician must understand and meet customer-specific requirements and perform thorough pre-delivery inspections. Maintaining the proper function of service tools and equipment is also a key part of the role. This position operates primarily in a garage or outdoor environment and is part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Apply wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbishing headlights.
Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
Inspect the vehicles thoroughly for pre delivery.
Maintain the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
