About The Position

The Automotive Wash Bay Technician is responsible for washing vehicles using pressure washers and automatic washers. This role also involves cleaning the interior of vehicles, including upholstery and carpets, and applying protective waxes and sealants to maintain the vehicle's shine and protect its surfaces. The technician will also be involved in refurbishing headlights and ensuring the overall quality and standard of service meets the organization's expectations and customer requirements. A key part of the role includes thorough pre-delivery inspections of vehicles and maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Apply wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbishing headlights.
Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
Inspecting the vehicles thoroughly for pre delivery.
Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
