About The Position

A high-volume automotive dealership is seeking an experienced Automotive Warranty Administrator to join its team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented dealership professional who understands warranty claims, manufacturer policies, repair order documentation, and warranty administration. Automotive Service Warranty Administration experience is REQUIRED. Requirements

  • Automotive Warranty Administration experience REQUIRED
  • Previous dealership warranty experience strongly preferred
  • Previous administrative or clerical experience
  • Strong understanding of automotive service warranty processes
  • Knowledge of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately process a high volume of warranty claims
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and tactful customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Must pass required pre-employment screening
  • Dealership: 2 years (Required)
  • Warranty Admin: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Research warranty coverage and prepare accurate warranty documentation
  • Stay current on manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and requirements
  • Verify warranty coverage and eligibility
  • Coordinate with management to prepare repair orders for warranty authorization
  • Review repair orders to ensure all required warranty documentation is complete
  • Process and submit warranty claims accurately and efficiently
  • Assist Service, Parts, and other dealership departments with warranty requirements
  • Assist customers with warranty service questions and coverage
  • Prepare and maintain warranty documentation according to manufacturer requirements
  • Complete data entry related to warranty claims, filings, and payments
  • Monitor warranty claims and databases for accuracy
  • Post warranty payments and maintain accurate records
  • Help resolve warranty discrepancies and documentation issues
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned
