About The Position

Tooele Motor Company is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Automotive Warranty Administrator to join our dealership team in Tooele, Utah. If you’re an organized, detail-oriented professional with previous automotive dealership experience and a strong understanding of manufacturer warranty processes, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with a respected, family-owned dealership. As our Warranty Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our busy service department by ensuring warranty claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer guidelines. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and manufacturers will directly impact customer satisfaction and dealership success.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive dealership experience required
  • Experience using dealership management software (Dealertrack experience is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty claim procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership computer systems
  • Professional attitude with a commitment to accuracy and teamwork

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator, Warranty Clerk, Warranty Processor, or Automotive Warranty Specialist preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process, review, and submit automotive warranty claims accurately and on time
  • Verify repair orders and supporting documentation for warranty compliance
  • Communicate with manufacturers regarding claim approvals, corrections, appeals, and follow-up requests
  • Maintain accurate warranty records and documentation
  • Reconcile warranty receivables and monitor outstanding claims
  • Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts personnel to ensure complete and accurate repair documentation
  • Identify and resolve warranty discrepancies before claim submission
  • Stay current on manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and reimbursement guidelines
  • Assist with warranty audits and maintain compliance with manufacturer requirements
  • Help improve warranty claim accuracy and processing efficiency within the service department
