About The Position

A Used Vehicle Director will be responsible for managing all facets of the Used Vehicle Department. From appraising to acquisition to reconditioning to the sale to the end user. You must ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about the inventory.

Requirements

• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• State driver’s license with satisfactory DMV driving record
• Must meet other company requirements for employment such as background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Having knowledge of the dealership's vehicles and explaining their features and warranties to customers
• Answer guest questions about cars, financing and purchase process
• Negotiate vehicle prices and trade-in values for guest's vehicle
• Appraising values for trade in and purchase
• Pricing the inventory to sell
