Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years Prior experience as an Automotive Transmission Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE Certification preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Ford/Lincoln vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and TRANSMISSION repairs on various makes and models, with a focus on Ford and Lincoln vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and fluid checks.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess vehicle issues.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards for repairs and maintenance.
  • Work efficiently to meet service deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status and recommended repairs.
