About The Position

Sun Auto Service is seeking a Remove and Reassemble (R&R) Technician/Mechanic with at least two years of experience to join their growing team in the Las Vegas Market. The ideal candidate is a professional, detail-oriented, self-motivated technician with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicle automotive systems, assisting other technicians, and communicating findings to service writers. Continuous learning of new technical information, equipment, tools, and repair techniques is expected.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Possess current, valid driver’s license
• Prior experience removing and reassembling front wheel drive and rear wheel drive transmissions
• At least two years of experience

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians
• Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools, and repair techniques
• Professionally record findings so that repair costs are accurately estimated
