About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Title Clerk & Accounting Assistant to join our busy dealership office team. In this dual-role capacity, you will manage vehicle titling, registration, and state DMV compliance while also providing essential support to our accounting department.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as an automotive title clerk or within a dealership business office.
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania DMV regulations, e-titling systems, and state compliance standards.
• Basic working knowledge of automotive accounting practices and dealership management systems (DMS).
• Exceptional organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process state vehicle registrations, titles, and lien perfection accurately and efficiently for new, used, and wholesale vehicles.
• Coordinate with customers, lenders, and the DMV to resolve title discrepancies and ensure timely state compliance.
• Maintain organized digital and physical logs of all title work and dealership documentation.
• Assist the accounting department with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and schedule reconciliations.
• Answer incoming calls, greet clients, and provide general administrative support as needed across dealership operations.
