About The Position

Lovering Volvo Cars Meredith is looking for an Accounting Assistant & Title Clerk to join their accounting team. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with no weekends, offering a stable career with opportunities for growth. Automotive experience is helpful but not required, as training will be provided for the right candidate who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle title and registration paperwork accurately and on time
• Process paperwork from our Finance & Insurance department
• Track funding on financed vehicle purchases
• Prepare vehicle and trade-in payoff checks
• Process daily receipts and ACH deposits
• Process floor plan payoffs
• Maintain and update management reports
• Process wholesale transactions, dealer trades, and intercompany transactions
• Maintain certificates of origin and titles for new and used vehicle inventory
• Reconcile accounting schedules
• Assist with month-end accounting
• Learn and stay current with title and registration requirements
• Assist the accounting team wherever needed
