Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive technician preferred (5 years or more)
Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Team oriented, flexible, high energy and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Regularly required to: Sit, stand and walk Use hands and arms to handle, feel, or reach Speak and hear Use close vision abilities Operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license Occasionally, required to: Lift or move up to 50 lbs Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Lead and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues accurately.
Consistently and concisely detail and document repairs to ensure vehicles are fixed right the first time.
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
Continue ongoing training to stay abreast of the new technology and techniques on the vehicle model lines.
