About The Position

Hyundai of Tacoma is hiring Automotive Technicians with paid training and the chance to build real skills in a fast-paced, professional service environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, mechanically inclined, and ready to learn in a structured shop setting where effort and consistency are valued. It is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn automotive repair skills, and is looking for an opportunity to grow within a dealership environment.

Requirements

ASE certifications are a plus but not required
Must be able to work well with others within a team concept and environment.
Candidates must have excellent work ethics, communication skills and the ability to execute maintenance and repair processes that meet time expectations to be successful.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive.
Must be willing to undergo a background check and illegal drug screening.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance
Complete vehicle inspections and document findings
Assist experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics
Learn shop processes, tools, and repair procedures
Support the service team in a fast-paced environment
Build skills that lead into advanced technician roles
