About The Position

Nucar Chevrolet, a dealership in the Wilmington Delaware area, has an opening in our Chevrolet service department. We're seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. Here at Nucar we are committed to excellence and are looking for a technician that has great communication skills and the ability to diagnose problems effectively. The service technician services vehicles assigned by management following all established standards and procedures as prescribed by the manufacturer. We strive to deliver the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. Competitive pay with the potential to earn $100,000-$150,000 per year depending on experience.

Requirements

Automotive service technician experience is required.
Knowledge of automotive servicing and repair required.
Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
Extremely dependable and excellent work ethic.
Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to submit to background check.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Highly professional and dependable.
Safety and computer service oriented.
Basic computer and internet skills.

Responsibilities

Services vehicles assigned by management following all established standards and procedures as prescribed by the manufacturer.
Ensure that the required documentation is completed and is compliant with regulations and standards.
Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
