About The Position

Carvana is hiring an automotive technician for its post-production team at a high-tech Inspection Center. The technician performs a full range of automotive repairs, from light maintenance to engine work, and diagnoses vehicles across all makes and models. Work includes advanced electrical diagnostics and repairs, including on electric and hybrid vehicles; wheel bearings and axles; and climate-control systems such as air conditioning and heater cores. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Solid diagnostic skills.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver's license.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work.
Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including on electric and hybrid vehicles.
Repair wheel bearings and axles.
Repair vehicle climate-control systems, including air conditioners and heater cores.
Work with the post-production team to prepare vehicles for customers.
