About The Position
Webb Automotive is hiring a full-time Automotive Technician. The role is open to Apprentice, Semi-Skilled, Senior, or Master level technicians. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, works efficiently performing repairs, and communicates well to support high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The technician performs assigned repairs and preventative maintenance to work order instructions and dealership quality, efficiency, and accuracy standards. The position involves vehicle inspections, diagnostic testing, road tests, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical concerns, coordinating with Service Advisors about findings and recommendations, and completing manufacturer warranty repairs according to required guidelines and procedures. Requirements
- Strong automotive background.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
- Clean and valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance according to work order instructions while maintaining dealership standards for quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostic testing, and road tests using specialized equipment and manufacturer-recommended tools.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical concerns involving engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking systems, HVAC, and other vehicle components.
- Work with Service Advisors to explain diagnostic results, identify recommended repairs, and provide realistic estimates for labor and completion times.
- Complete manufacturer warranty work according to established guidelines, technical specifications, and required repair procedures.
