About The Position
Webb Automotive is hiring a full-time Automotive Technician. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, works efficiently when performing repairs, and communicates effectively to support high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The team is open to apprentice, semi-skilled, senior, and master-level technicians. The role involves completing assigned vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance, inspecting and diagnosing vehicles, and resolving mechanical and electrical concerns. Technicians also collaborate with Service Advisors, conduct warranty repairs, and follow dealership standards, manufacturer guidelines, and recommended procedures. Requirements
- Strong automotive background.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
- Must have a clean and valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance according to work order instructions while maintaining dealership standards for quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, diagnostic testing, and road tests using specialized equipment and manufacturer-recommended tools.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical concerns involving engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking systems, HVAC, and other vehicle components.
- Work closely with Service Advisors to explain diagnostic results, identify recommended repairs, and provide realistic estimates for labor and completion times.
- Complete manufacturer warranty work according to established guidelines, technical specifications, and required repair procedures.
