About The Position
Automotive Service Technician Opening at Sunset Kia of Sarasota! Come experience the difference that comes from working for the Sunset Automotive Group family of new car dealerships! We offer steady work, including customer pay flat rate pay from $21-$40 flat rate depending on experience, paid training to help you advance quickly and maintain your elite status, a professional, fun atmosphere, a great schedule with no nights and closed Sundays, and one Saturday a month. We are a stable, local organization who cares about the community and our employees. Kia Certifications preferred. Auto Service Experience Required. Sunset Automotive Group is southwest Florida's largest automotive group with 10 franchises at 11 locations in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced automotive service experience and skills required
- 2 years or more of Kia experience helpful
- Good diagnostic skills
- Flexibility for all types of work
- Own tools
- Valid driver's license
- Verifiable work history
- Ability to engage in heavy lifting
- Basic computer proficiency
- Willingness to continue your education
Nice To Haves
- Kia certifications preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform automotive services and repairs accurately and efficiently, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Inspect vehicles for maintenance and other concerns
- Diagnose vehicle concerns for repair
- Communicate clearly with the service team including parts associates and service advisors
- Document all work performed
