About The Position

Volkswagen of Tacoma is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician for our busy service department. We are looking for a skilled technician who can perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance in a high-volume shop environment with steady workflow. Requirements

Prior technician experience required (VW, Audi, or European preferred)
Strong diagnostic and repair ability
Ability to work efficiently in a production environment
Team-oriented and dependable work ethic
1 year of automotive experience.
ASE certifications are ideal.
Strong automotive background
Strong teamwork skills
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
Must have a clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair Volkswagen and European vehicles
Perform mechanical, electrical, and drivability repairs
Complete warranty, recall, and customer-pay work
Work closely with service advisors to keep workflow moving
Road test vehicles for quality assurance
Maintain a clean and efficient shop environment
