About The Position

Autos of Chicago is a high-volume, fast-paced luxury and used vehicle dealership looking for an experienced Automotive Technician specializing in import vehicles. We carry over 500 vehicles in stock, including high-end European and Asian brands, and we need a skilled technician who can keep up with production and quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience working on import vehicles (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Lexus, Toyota, Honda, etc.)
• Ability to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance efficiently
• Experience with electrical, engine, transmission, and suspension systems
• Comfortable using diagnostic tools and scanners
• Ability to complete UCI (Used Car Inspections) thoroughly and accurately
• Detail-oriented – no missed items on inspections
• Team player with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency
• Minimum 3+ years experience working on import vehicles
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools required
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform Used Car Inspections (UCI) and identify all needed repairs
• Complete repairs and maintenance in a timely manner
• Accurately flag hours and maximize productivity
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and management
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
