About The Position

Tonkin Hillsboro Ford is hiring Automotive Technicians/Mechanics for its growing Service Team. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles to manufacturer specifications in a busy dealership shop with consistent workflow and billable-hour opportunities. Technicians are expected to deliver quality workmanship, follow Ford procedures, and contribute to the service team. The position includes mentoring and helping other technicians.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior automotive experience.
• Personal tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old, have a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose automotive problems.
• Inspect vehicles, repair engine failures, repair mechanical and electrical systems, and replace parts.
• Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair and servicing process.
• Mentor and help other technicians on the service team.
