Plans and provides engaging, standards-based classroom learning experiences in Career and Technical Education (CTE) Business Education programs. Creates an atmosphere and learning environment that supports the intellectual, academic, social, emotional, and career development of all students while preparing them for postsecondary education and the workforce. Responsible for supervising students in a variety of instructional settings; monitoring and evaluating student progress; communicating effectively with students, parents, staff, business and industry partners, and the community; and developing, selecting, and modifying instructional plans and materials to meet the diverse needs of learners. Maintains appropriate records, follows established policies and procedures, integrates career development and work-based learning opportunities, and ensures the appropriate use and care of instructional equipment, technology, materials, and facilities.
