About The Position
FRANK LETA AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS Our technicians are among the most productive and highly compensated in the nation. They average 50-60 flat-rate hours per week. We offer a 4 day workweek and up to 4 weeks vacation. 85% of our hours are Customer-Pay, not Warranty time. We provide State-of-the-Art Equipment, and no hunting around for cars or keys - we pull cars in for you. The shop is temperature controlled and Advanced Dispatch gives you the right job at the right time. Our advisors sell maintenance work. Our Customer-Pay Hours are at record levels and we need great technicians to keep up with our pace! You will make a very competitive rate per hour, but you will turn more time at our shop because of all the resources listed above.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Maintain Bay in an orderly manner
- Ensures that customer vehicles are kept clean and undamaged
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Ability to identify problems quickly
- Ability to learn new technology, repairs and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate diagnostic equipment and computers
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnoses, maintains and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
- Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
- Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain shop special tools and equipment and return when jobs are completed
