About The Position

Moran Automotive is seeking an Automotive Service Technician specializing in brakes and suspension. The role performs mechanical services on vehicles, diagnoses and repairs complex issues, and provides customer service. The technician is expected to deliver high-quality workmanship, follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols, maintain current technical knowledge, and work with the service team in a clean, organized environment.

Requirements

ASE Certification or State Master Certified.
Previous experience at a dealership.
At least 1 year of experience as an Automotive Technician.
Thorough knowledge of automotive systems, mechanics, and components.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of mechanical services on various vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Provide accurate, detailed reports of repairs and services performed.
Complete work to high standards and follow manufacturer specifications.
Maintain and update technical knowledge and skills through training and certifications.
Explain repairs and services to customers and address their concerns or questions.
Collaborate with the service team to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety protocols and regulations.
