Requirements

  • Experience with warranty and non-warranty diagnostics, inspection, maintenance, and repairs on multiple vehicle makes and models.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and reliable work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and energetic personality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and exercise good judgment.
  • Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • ASE certification or equivalent technical aptitude required.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or trade school degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use diagnostic and administrative tools to accurately troubleshoot customer concerns.
  • Interact with customers courteously and professionally at all times.
  • Serve as a secondary greeter in the Service Drive area to promptly acknowledge customers.
  • Stay updated with technical publications and utilize Service Comm and Asist terminal systems.
  • Perform vehicle services prioritizing safety and quality.
  • Address original customer concerns before discussing additional service options.
  • Inspect vehicles for recommended maintenance and other service needs.
  • Ensure vehicles are returned clean or cleaner than at arrival.
  • Participate in factory and in-house training programs as scheduled.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and attach necessary shop forms.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Service Manager, ASM, or Group Leader.
  • Maintain punctuality, wear a clean uniform, and be prepared to work each day.
