Automotive Service Technician (Up to $150k+)
About The Position
Camargo Cadillac is looking for skilled, motivated Automotive Service Technicians to join our service team in Cincinnati. We’re looking for technicians who take pride in their work, know how to diagnose and repair vehicles the right way, and want to be rewarded for their experience and productivity. Cadillac or GM experience is a plus, but technicians from other automotive brands are encouraged to apply. At Camargo Cadillac, you’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the most advanced vehicles on the road while building your skills with Cadillac and GM technology. Our Certified Service team works with factory training, advanced diagnostic equipment, and GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco components to provide customers with high-quality maintenance and repairs. Requirements
- Previous professional automotive technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform automotive maintenance and repair efficiently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair orders
- Willingness to complete ongoing manufacturer training
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must have or be willing to obtain the tools necessary to perform the position
Nice To Haves
- Cadillac or GM experience is a plus
- Cadillac, GM, or dealership experience is a plus, but not required
- ASE certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair customer vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Perform maintenance and repairs including brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and other vehicle systems
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Perform multi-point inspections and identify needed maintenance and repairs
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding vehicle diagnosis and repair recommendations
- Complete repair orders and documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Stay current with manufacturer training, technical information, and evolving vehicle technology
- Provide high-quality workmanship while meeting productivity and efficiency goals
