Acura of Fort Myers, part of the fast-growing Group 1 Automotive, is seeking an Experienced Service Technician (Flag or Hourly) to join their Quality Acura Dealership. Nice To Haves
- Honda or Acura experience is preferred
- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in: brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance is a plus
- A Love of Everything Automotive
- A Positive & Friendly Attitude
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed.
- Explain work performed and recommendations to the Service Advisor.
- Road test vehicles to ensure quality of repair.
- Keep abreast of new automotive technologies and be proficient with current models.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide exceptional client experience.
