About The Position

Massey Services is a large and respected service company with a long history of providing quality service. We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role involves handling customer inquiries, requests, and billing questions over the phone, as well as making outbound calls to ensure customer satisfaction and confirm appointments. Additional responsibilities may include daily reporting, updating customer information, accounts payable, HR paperwork, and payroll processing.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED at a minimum
  • Previous experience with customer service on the phone
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent computer, typing, and 10-key skills
  • Time management talent and a sense of urgency
  • Background checks will be completed on all candidates considered for hire

Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming customer calls in a courteous & professional manner
  • Resolving customer inquiries, requests, billing questions, and scheduling service
  • Welcoming prospective new customers interested in learning about our services
  • Making a high volume of outbound calls to ensure customer satisfaction, confirm service appointments, and collect overdue payments
  • Updating customer account information
  • Accounts payable
