About The Position

Pride Chevrolet in Lynn, MA is hiring 2 to 4 Apprentice Technicians for their in-house apprenticeship program. This program is designed to guide technicians toward factory certification, increased pay, and greater responsibility on a defined timeline. The program offers training, coaching, and a clear path for career advancement within the automotive field.

Requirements

A recent graduate of an accredited automotive technical or trade school, OR at least 12 months of verifiable, hands-on automotive repair experience in an independent shop or dealership (this is a must-have, not a nice-tohave)
A genuine interest in pursuing factory certifications and building a career, not just clocking hours
Strong work ethic and a growth mindset. You'll be coached hard and pushed to improve fast
Friendly, coachable, and a true team player. You're joining a work family, and we mean that literally
Insurable under our dealership garage policy, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

Chevrolet experience is a plus but not required. If you've got the aptitude and the attitude, we'll teach you the brand

Responsibilities

Learn and perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repair tasks under the guidance of experienced technicians
Read, comprehend, and complete all actions on assigned repair orders
Perform, document, and video all multipoint inspection findings on the repair order
Follow all safety guidelines and keep your workspace, tools, and customer vehicles secure at all times
Communicate clearly and professionally with technicians, advisors, and staff
Complete all required OEM and in-house training and certifications on schedule
Treat every vehicle, and every customer's trust, like it's your own name on the repair order
Show up dependable, on time, and ready to learn every single day
