About The Position

An Automotive Scheduler is the first line of contact for a dealership's service department. You will be responsible for both inbound and outbound communication, focusing on generating appointments for service and maintenance. This is a crucial role in keeping the service department busy and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Answering a high volume of customer phone calls and initiating follow-ups to service appointments
  • Make outbound calls to existing customers to remind them of upcoming service needs, including but not limited to maintenance, repairs, recalls, and recommended services to generate new service appointments
  • Learning to utilize a wide variety of basic automobile knowledge and maintenance information
  • Respond quickly and thoroughly to the internet, phone, and live chat inquiries using email, scripts, and templates
  • Providing customer with initial product information and directing them to the appropriate dealership resource
  • Follow up with customers after their service to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and appointments in the dealership’s database
  • Collaborating daily with teammates to utilize CRM systems to build customer relations
  • Participate in team and process development sessions
  • Working closely while maintaining positive relationships with teammates, service teams, and dealership management
