About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and outgoing Automotive Service Porter to join our team. In this role, you will greet customers arriving at the service department, assist with vehicle movements, and help maintain clean and organized service and lot areas. You will play an important role in providing excellent customer service and supporting smooth service operations.

Requirements

Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
Professional and dependable with a positive attitude
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer and internet literacy
Professional appearance and strong work ethic
Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions
Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy objects when necessary
Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled environments
The ability to operate both automatic and standard transmission vehicles is necessary

Responsibilities

Greet customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional demeanor
Install disposable protective coverings on vehicles, such as seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats
Move customer vehicles safely around the lot and service areas
Deliver keys and repair orders to Service Advisors promptly after parking vehicles
Retrieve vehicles for customers and provide courteous service when they pick up their vehicles
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the service lot and shop areas
Follow all safety and security procedures
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
