About The Position
Driver’s Village, a World Class Transportation Provider, continues to grow and we are seeking customer-service-oriented Automotive Service Manager to join our successful team. If you like working with people – this career is for you! Driver’s Village represents over 17 automotive franchises, serving hundreds of customers each month. We’ve been making customers happy for nearly 85 years, by providing safe and reliable transportation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred
- A goal driven self-starter with excellent sales, customer service, communication, computer, and listening skills
- A proven track record of high performance, with a history of strong customer satisfaction scores.
- Able to demonstrate an ability to be trained on an OEM process and procedure
- A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Pleasant, energetic, conscientious and dependable
- Works well with others in a team atmosphere
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train service advisors for success
- Review and assist with closing repair orders
- Set monthly targets for service employees and build plans to achieve goals
- Report to management on forecast, profit and loss, receivables, and marketing
- Maintain manufacturer relationships by properly processing claims, minimizing receivables, and ensuring that employees are certified
- Ensure that employees are able to work in a clean, safe environment
- Other duties as assigned by executive management
