About The Position

J.C. Lewis Motor Co. is seeking a service cashier and appointment coordinator to join their team. This role serves as an initial point of contact for service customers, with primary responsibilities focusing on the service cashier duties and secondary responsibilities including providing coverage for service appointment coordinators. Requirements

Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude with an upbeat, outgoing personality and dedication to exceptional customer service
Dependable and compliant in following an assigned work schedule, which will include some overtime and occasional scheduled Saturdays
At least 19 years of age with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

Prior automotive BDC, service, cashier, or call center experience preferred
Computer proficiency, with experience using computer tracking systems for calls and appointments preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as the liaison between the service department and customers
Collect service payments and close service invoices
Assist the service department with loaner vehicle fleet as well as loaner vehicle prep, check-out, and check-in
Receive and respond to a high volume of inbound calls and online inquiries in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner
Identify customer needs and schedule or modify service appointments
Maintain an online appointment scheduler
