Requirements

Minimum of two years' experience as a service advisor.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with a good driving record.
Energetic personality and positive attitude.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Greet service customers promptly with a professional and courteous attitude.
Inspect vehicles and review service history to identify customer needs accurately.
Provide clear cost and time estimates and obtain customer authorization before proceeding with work.
Promote appropriate services, parts, and accessories by understanding product features and service requirements.
Monitor service progress and update customers on any changes in cost, timing, or recommended repairs.
Manage warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
Confirm appointments by telephone before scheduled service and conduct post-repair follow-up calls.
Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure quality and communicate service results to customers.
Comply with state and federal automobile repair and consumer protection laws.
Demonstrate company values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
