Madison Honda is a leading automotive dealership committed to delivering exceptional customer service and quality vehicle maintenance. We are currently seeking a professional and motivated Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in Clinton, NJ.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience as a service advisor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment with a clean driving record.
  • Positive attitude and high-energy personality.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inspect vehicles and review service history to accurately identify service needs.
  • Promote the sale of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by understanding product details and service requirements.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and time of completion for services, and obtain customer authorization.
  • Monitor service progress, communicate updates to customers, and manage approvals for any changes.
  • Administer warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Confirm service appointments by telephone prior to customer arrival and conduct post-repair follow-up calls.
  • Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure service quality and communicate results to customers.
  • Comply with state and federal laws related to automobile repair and consumer protection.
  • Demonstrate company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
