Requirements

Minimum of two years experience as a service advisor.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license for the state of employment with a clean driving record.
Positive attitude and high-energy personality.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
Inspect vehicles and review service history to accurately identify service needs.
Promote the sale of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by understanding product details and service requirements.
Provide accurate cost estimates and time of completion for services, and obtain customer authorization.
Monitor service progress, communicate updates to customers, and manage approvals for any changes.
Administer warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
Confirm service appointments by telephone prior to customer arrival and conduct post-repair follow-up calls.
Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure service quality and communicate results to customers.
Comply with state and federal laws related to automobile repair and consumer protection.
Demonstrate company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
