As an Automotive Service Advisor at Horne Kia, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally and assisting them with their vehicle service needs. You will coordinate service appointments, communicate estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience as a service advisor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record in the state of employment.
  • Positive attitude with a high-energy personality.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival.
  • Inspect vehicles and review service history to accurately identify service requirements.
  • Promote services, parts, and accessories based on thorough product knowledge.
  • Provide accurate cost and time estimates and obtain customer authorization for services.
  • Monitor vehicle service progress and communicate any changes or updates to customers.
  • Manage warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Confirm service appointments by phone prior to customer visits and follow up after service completion.
  • Inspect vehicles before customer delivery to ensure all service and repairs are completed satisfactorily.
  • Adhere to state and federal laws regarding automobile repair and consumer protection.
  • Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the company’s values in all customer and team interactions.
